Measure your child's foot with your iPadI firmly believe that moms come up with some of the best inventions because they are out there in the trenches every day and know what kinds of problems are facing parents.  As the mom of an ever growing boy, I have been known to actually purchase shoes that are too small for him.  It just boggles my mind that he could actually be wearing a size 6 already!  I try to remember to use those slider-foot-measuring-tools, but half the time there aren’t any to be found in the shoe department and I wind up kind of guessing.

Well, two moms have come up with the solution to making sure your child always has the correct size shoes – Foot Fairy!

Foot Fairy is an iPad app that measures your child’s foot so you never make another mistake when buying shoes. Simply put your child’s foot up against the iPad to get an immediate and fun reading of your child’s shoe size. The app will remember your child’s name and shoe size so that you can be reminded to re-measure your child’s feet to make sure they are in the proper shoe size.  The app also has other cool features like the ability to email the shoe size information and to get taken directly to a page on Zappos for shoes in your child’s shoe size.  Your kids will love it and you will be comfortable knowing your child’s proper shoe size.

And best of all – it’s free!!

Be sure to tune to Shark Tank’s season finale on Friday night (May 16th) to see Dr. Sylvie Shapiro and Nicole Brooks pitch the Sharks their cool creation. Do you think Mr. Wonderful will let them measure his foot??
